On March 13th, 2017 (Saito's birthday), Nguyen Tuan Hung-san (D1) got 2017 Aoba-Rigaku-Sinkoukai Award with certificate and medal. Aoba-Rigaku-Sinkoukai Award is given to a few excellent students in Graduate School of Science, Tohoku University. Nguyen-san got the award for the work on thermoelectricity of low-dimensional materials. Since this award is usually given to D3 students, to get the award at D1 stage is somehow exceptional. Congratulations!
2017年3月13日(齋藤の誕生日)、D1のグエンさんが青葉理学振興会賞を受賞致しました。 この賞は、青葉理学振興会 が優秀な東北大学理学研究科に属する大学院生の研究に対して授与する賞で、物理からは 毎年2名選ばれます。通常はD3が選ばれることが多いのですが、D1で選ばれたのは例外的であるといえます。受賞理由は『低次元物質の熱伝導特性に関する理論』です。おめでとうございます。
