His citation is on for the paper published in APEX in 2015, which is his first paper of his life. This paper showed switching of THz electromagnetic wave by monolayer graphene in a special condition by changing the Fermi energy. ショウフィーさんが、2017年9月5日（火）福岡国際会議場で開催された第78回応用物理学会秋季学術講演会で、第39回（2017年度）応用物理学会優秀論文賞を受賞しました。この賞は、応用物理学会に関連する雑誌JJAP,APEXに2015年、2016年に掲載された論文から選ばれるものです。グラフェンは2.3%の光吸収をすることで知られていますが、グラフェンをドープして、全反射する条件でGHz、THzの電磁場の吸収を測定するとグラフェンは電磁波を100%吸収すること、またフェルミエネルギーを変化させると、電磁場吸収の値を0%から100%まで変化することができ、THｚ電磁場のスイッチングが可能であることを示しています。この理論の論文の発展として、実験による検証や、２層グラフェンの結果などの展開があります。スイッチングの実験の検証を今後期待しています。
