Photo: Sato-san with Saito at FNTG54 Univ. of Tokyo, 2018.3.11On March 11th, 2018, Naomichi Sato-san (M2) got 2018 Fullerene-Nanotube-Graphene Society (FNTG) Young Scientists Award at the 54th FNTG general symposium at University of Tokyo. FNTG Young Scientists Award is given to a few excellent students for the presentation of the previous the 53th FNTG society meeting. Sato-san got the award for the work on chircular dichroism of carbon nanotubes. Although Sato-san does not belong to Saito group (Ishihara group), his work since undergraduating thesis is continued after entering the graduate course. Congratulations!
2017年3月11日、M2の佐藤直道さん(石原G)が第54回フラーレン・ナノチューブ・グラフェン学会(FNTG)で若手奨励賞を受賞しました。若手奨励賞は 第53回FNTG学会で優秀な発表をした若手研究者から数名 (今回は4名)選ばれるものです。 佐藤さんは、齋藤Gの大学院生ではありませんが、学部4 年生の時の研究を継続して行い、論文に発表しました。受賞理由は 『カーボンナノチューブの円偏光2色性におけるカイラル角依存性 』です。おめでとうございます。
