\special
You can download literal PostScript header code in your TeX document,
for use with (for example) literal graphics code that you include later.
The text of a \special
beginning with an `!' is copied into
the output file. A dictionary SDict
will be current when this
code is executed; Dvips arranges for SDict
to be first on the
dictionary stack when any PostScript graphic is included, whether
literally (the `"' special) or through macros (e.g.,
`epsf.tex').
For example:
\special{! /reset { 0 0 moveto} def}
